I AM
FRIENDLY
I had Covid-19 during the pandemic and I thought I was going to die.
When I first got here in Singapore, I felt really sad and in despair as I had no friends here and knew no one. It was a very lonely and difficult period.
Now, I have made many new Singaporean and Bangladeshi friends. I am so grateful to them for showing me care and support, and standing beside me. I hope to treat others and be more friendly towards them the way I have been treated with friendship and kind-heartedness from the people around me.
"SHARE YOUR SMILES WITH THE WORLD. IT'S A SYMBOL OF FRIENDSHIP AND PEACE"
You can see the Marina Bay Sands and Merlion here to show respect and the beauty of Singapore with its great structure and greenery - It’s almost poetic. I dream of becoming a writer.
DO YOU SEE ME ?
Your Friend,
Rakib PS: Write a note to me. Share my story - Resilience
Being alone in a foreign land is difficult and scary. It is great that Rakib forged many friendships and has the support of his new friends.
