I AM
EQUALITY
One very lasting comment that the brothers made to me was - my Singapore isn't your Singapore - that impacted me very deeply, there is inequality even if we are living in the same island.
I hope that the fringe minorities are given equal rights regardless of language, race and religion. It's enshrined in our national pledge and should apply to all living on this island instead of just Singapore citizens.
"WE ARE ALL HUMAN"
My expression piece is a piece of hope that SIngapore treats all living on this island with equal rights regardless of language, race and religion.
DO YOU SEE ME ?
Your Friend,
Nicholas PS: Write me a note. Share my story - let's build a Singapore where everyone can call home.
It is truly inspiring to see fellow Singaporeans rally together in making Singapore a more inclusive society and creating more opportunities for everyone to bond with one another.
