ACTIVATING LIVED EXPERIENCES
DIALOGUE . AWARENESS . CHANGE

EPISODE 1 -
GROWING TOGETHER

  • A 3-part video series hosted by persons with disabilities, spotlighting inclusive hiring in action

  • Shares real, unfiltered stories of persons with disabilities and the people who support them in work and life

  • Captures authentic journeys of growth, challenge, and possibility across diverse workplaces, showing how trust, collaboration, mentorship, and belief unlock potential

  • Invites viewers to rethink assumptions and recognise that truly seeing someone is only the beginning of inclusion

“I learn to talk, wash dishes, cashiering”
Hosted by Lily, a Deaf facilitator, this episode follows an inclusive workplace where growth unfolds through patience, trust, and shared effort. Boon Swee, a non-verbal employee, gradually builds confidence and skills — from simple tasks to cooking his own meals — while his mother Florence’s journey evolves from caregiver to colleague.

Alongside Annabelle’s 15-year path from dishwashing to cashiering, the story reflects how inclusive environments enable steady growth, dignity, and belonging. Insights from organisation consultant Douglas and social worker Yi Feng underscore the importance of designing workplaces around people’s strengths — creating spaces where everyone can learn, contribute, and grow together.

BECAUSE SEEING
IS JUST THE BEGINNING

EPISODE 2 -
HIDDEN COLOURS

“I want to be an entertainer, cafe owner”
Hosted by Wanyi, a dancer with intellectual disabilities who explores pathways beyond performance, this episode follows poet, Joan, as she collaborates with baker, Aiswarya, to co-create a baked piece inspired by her poetry.

Through this creative exchange, the story reveals how mentorship, trust, and collaboration open new pathways for expression and growth — inviting viewers to see potential beyond labels through possibility and belief.

EPISODE 3 -
LEAP OF FAITH

“I feel proud of myself”
Hosted by Sheldon, a person with acquired disabilities, this episode brings together voices from inclusive workplaces, including Gerwen, an individual on the autism spectrum, in conversation with Madeline, founder of Mad Roaster, alongside Weijie and Marcus from Foreword Coffee and Post Boy Coffee.

Through these perspectives, the episode explores inclusive hiring from multiple angles — leadership journeys, patience in growth, and the creation of opportunities. Alongside them, Gerwen shares his lived experience of work, friendship, and aspiration, showing how inclusion is built through courage, trust, and consistent effort.
